This is a solid spot for delicious soul food. The flavors are authentic and everything tastes homemade. Just be prepared for service to run a bit slow at times—some dishes are cooked to order, which means they take longer but are definitely worth the wait. It’s a great place to visit with a group of friends if you want to relax, talk, and enjoy a good meal without feeling rushed. It’s also an excellent option if you call ahead and pick up your order for even quicker service. Overall, great food and a welcoming vibe.

First order here and I decided to try the catfish sandwich with fries. When I tell you I wish I could give them a 10 out of 10. Everything was perfectly seasoned and super fresh. My order came to about $18 with taxes and well worth it. Check the pictures. To be honest my next order will be the alligator bites. This place did such a good job that I’m literally ready to try every menu item. Highly recommended and you’ll definitely see me there again

I was searching for a Soul Food restaurant in my area and Siri suggested this one. It was wonderful. The restaurant itself was bright, cheerful and esthetically pleasing. I was warmly greeted by the hostess she asked if I was dining in or taking out. She led me to the take out area and the staff there was equally kind. Now to the food…the smothered pork chops w/gravy was delicious along with the cabbage. The cornbread was on another level. The portions were more than ample. I also met the owner and I told her that I will be back if the food was good. Needless to say I look forward to returning ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

When I say, the customer service was amazing. Keisha and Tony are the owners. Food is amazing. Go and checkout the food you will not be disappointed.

Second time coming, we did dine-in for early lunch & the food was delicious! Atmosphere was clear and nicely decorated. Fresh sunflowers were on the tables. Our waiter was excellent, friendly and attentive. Wait time was not long and the food was hot and fresh. I ordered the turkey wings AGAIN :) which came with rice and I had a side of Mac. Turkey wings were flavorful and tender, rice was cooked to perfection (not gummy or the cheap brand), mac was old school (exactly how my mom made/makes it, plus you could taste and see the cheese :) . I even tried the mini cornbread muffin and chicken and rice, it was good as well. One of the owners (Tony) came to greet and check on our overall experience. I will be back again not just to support but because the food is good, and how I like it. My little one is picky but tore up my leftover turkey wing and rice lol :( . We will be back again soon & I will try another dish. Blessings!!

First time going on February 22, 25- my birthday and all I can say is the food is beyond amazing. I tried the fried devil eggs and it took me by surprise how good they were. I love lamb chops and theirs didn't disappoint. Our meal was so good that I came back the next day to eat something else. I had their sesfood macaroni and cheese, another hit! Please go and support.

Hello and welcome to my review! Where to start? Beautiful restaurant. Right amount of lighting, pleasant decor, nice layout. Friendly service and prices are comparable to other restaurants of its caliber. When most people go out to eat we want to know if the restaurant is clean. Is the service good and how are the prices? Most of the time if any of there are off, it’s a turn off and it doesn’t matter how tasty the food is. Now to the meat and potatoes of this review. For us tasty was an understatement. Our meals were delicious & everything was seasoned just right. Oh the gator (alligator) bites!!! Two words “Honey Chile.” I’ll let the pictures do the rest of this review. I highly recommend. 4 stars is only because they were so busy (good for business) it took a while for our meal to arrive. I look at the wait from the perspective of we were in line waiting for our number to be called, and it was worth the wait. Bon appétit!!!

Inquired about finding a local, good soul food restaurant amongst friends; this spot was highly recommended. Visited the following day to wrap up a long week. Very cordial and professional staff upon entry. Ordered the smothered pork chops over rice, candied yams, and collard greens and the fried fish special - all to go. Was treated to some hot buttered corn bread and water, discussed other food menu options while waiting - nice touch! Got the haul home and dug in. Look here - EVERYTHING was delicious and satisfying! Nothing like closing out the work week and head into the weekend like that! I’ll definitely be returning for more! Thanks for everything!
